Free watercolor swatch template

After watching several tutorials and then a Live by the lovely and talented Kara-Aina Art, I decided I was way overdue for creating my own swatch sheets. The only problem, I didn’t want to spend the time measuring and drawing little squares.

So I put my graphic design skills to work once again and creating a template for myself.

I figured there were more people who could use this!

How To:

Gather your supplies:

1. Watercolor paper - I used Legion 140lb cold press size 9 x 12.

2. Printer - I suggest laser or lines will bleed.

3. Paper Cutter or Xacto and ruler - Cut your paper to fit your printer size.

4. Download and print this PDF on your watercolor paper.

5. Watch her tutorial on color theory and creating a swatch in her IG Live.

6. Gather your paints, brushes and water.

7. Create your own pretty swatches.

I don’t know why I waited so long to do this but I have already created 3 swatch sets and wish I had done this sooner!
